This cleverly built extension table features solid birch HL2-legs with a birch honeycomb core tabletop to provide an extremely strong but lightweight surface. The HL2-leg is the largest available leg option and uses a bracket attachment to connect the leg to the tabletop for extra support. Built by Alvar Aalto in 1956, the thoughtful design features a 18-inch extension leaf that can be discreetly stored underneath the table to easily take the table from small to large. Aalto tables are impeccably constructed and have timeless style, so re-decorate your interior with his modern designs. Made in Finland by Artek. Simple assembly required.
