Inspired by the original Aalto (Savoy) vase, this rounder version simplifies the original for the ultimate modern and sleek look and takes it to new heights. The new iittala color called "Linen" is light, airy, and alluring; a humble hue that's perfect for any season. It will also showcase the stems of a floral arrangement, though it can hold many other contents, too; designer Alvar Aalto wanted the end user to determine the object's purpose. It takes 7 craftsmen, 12 work stages and 30 hours to create just one of these extraordinary mouth-blown vases.
